With more than 17 years of experience in healthcare, Nia has built her career around serving people with compassion, integrity, and practical support. Her experiences as a nurse, business owner, mother, and community advocate have shaped her belief that strong communities are created when people have access to knowledge, resources, and opportunities to participate in their own history.

Nia is the founder of Founders Threads LLC and Philly Tours by Founders, where she combines Philadelphia history, tourism, technology, storytelling, and wearable art.
Her work is designed to make history accessible, engaging, and relevant—especially for young people, families, and communities whose stories have often been overlooked.

Through educational tours, historical products, digital experiences, and community-centered programming, she highlights the people, neighborhoods, struggles, and achievements that helped shape the city and the nation.
